Ready to take your dancing to the next level?

No matter what level you are at, our classes and mentors are here to help hone your skills and get you ready to compete in Ohio and all over the Midwest! Unlike other teams, try-outs are not required to join our competition team– just an active membership and having DoSportsEasy filled out. We welcome everyone who would like to compete with open arms and provide resources to help you succeed!

Professional coaching:

Our Technique class is taught by our professional coach, Dana Edwards. She is an extremely valuable resource in learning new technique and refining what you already know to take it to the next level. We have technique classes taught by her every Sunday. For more details, check out the link below:

Open Practice Space:

Every dancer needs to practice! To help you get the the practice time you need we have reserved space every week in the Union, which doesn’t require a BuckID to access. Dancers aren’t required to utilize this time, but it’s a great resource if you want to receive mentoring, or meet up with other friends to practice together. Check out our Google Calendar to see what availability we have each week.

LEVEL TESTING:

Level testing is how we evaluate your skill as a dancer, and assess the progress of the club as a whole. It can help you identify skills to work on with a mentor, and acknowledge the skills you should be proud of! Level testing also reveals strength and weaknesses in our instruction, and helps us improve our lessons for the future.

At a level test, you will be able to choose one of the student teachers to dance with, and our coach Dana will give you a few dances to choose from. You will do a round of each dance you choose, and Dana will identify your level and give you feedback.
