Bronze American Waltz | Smooth

Welcome to Bronze American Waltz! Click here for the Newcomer Lesson!

We’ll be reviewing both dances at 8:30PM on Thursday night! Join the Zoom review here and Technique on Sundays!

This week Technique will not be held on campus so we ask all members to fill out OSU’s DoSportsEasy form, more information available in the weekly emails. Make sure to review before Technique! The goal for these classes is to cover details that are not easily covered in videos!

Let’s DancE!

Criss-Cross UnderArm Turn

This step combines some of the basic steps we covered in the Newcomer Lesson.

There are two variants here: the typical version, and using the underarm turn as an exit to back-to-back.

Chasse From Promenade

Promenade is utilized in American Waltz in a similar way to many of the other dances we’ve covered so far.

WaterFall

Waterfall begins from promenade position, similar to the previous chasse step.

That’s it for our lesson! If you want to learn more, join us at our meetings and send us any questions you might have! Thank you to Abigail, Michael, and Dana!
